Parking Brake Shoes make recommendation |
|
Is there any consensus regarding the best make of EPB shoes to fit. Read a few threads and sounds like some come supplied with better quality springs or have incorrect size holes that need to be open out.
Any recommendations please.

Replace with genuine LR shoes and follow Bodsy's brake bible. Used Brit Part in the past and they delaminated on bedding in process so avoid and use LR shoes. D3 TDV6 S MY2005

With the trouble that you can have why consider anything else apart from genuine, they arent that dear.
Im more than happy fitting copy parts including brake parts but when I read about people having endless trouble with their epb (mainly due to lack of tlc) so I fitted genuine.
What people dont tell you is they are an utter to fit unless you use the IID tool in demount mode, wish I knew that before I did mine
