Main Dealer Service Plan. Any good?

Got a new D4 HSE on 1st March from Morrisons in Stirling.
They have now offered me a 3 year service plan for the first 3 services.
The cost is either £1000 now or £30 a month over 36 months.
Has anyone done this and do you think it's worth while?
It does not include wear and tear parts like tyres and brake pads.
Any extra parts required get a 10% discount.
Can't decide if this is a good deal.

Well I must be honest I think a £1000 is a rip-off! Last service I had on my old D3 was £290 for its 4 year one! Haggle with them and phone around for service costs. 2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)
Discovery TDV6 SE (06) Gone!
Military 90 (1986) gone but not fogotten!
TV Option (Thanks to Wiggs)

Must move to Wales - you wont even get a 'railway arch' service for that price in London

3 year plan here is £1393.00 LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

Hi Guys i have a 3 year plan with guy salmon sheffield, for service's 2,3,4, cost £1085, i know i get extra parts at a discount but cant remember how much.

oops wrong section mines a 3 not a facelift model.

Guy Salmon Thames Ditton have just offered me a servuice plan for my 2011 D4 HSE to cover its first 3 services - £1600 inc VAT. Shocked
