Offroaders friendly holiday cottages |
|
If you are looking for a self catering holiday cottage in an area that is rich with offroading opportunities (lanes and centres) please check out :
www.rookerycottages.com which are cottages at Ambleside in The Lake District
and
www.edencottage.net which is a cottage at Corbridge in Northumberland
Both locations have private offroad parking and I will happily send a marked up map of local lanes to any Landy owner who books either cottage. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

We'd possibly be interested in renting one of these next year. Finding somewhere that takes the dog too, is quite tricky. If I can go off-roading, then that's my holiday entertainment sorted! Matt

We welcome a dog at all of the cottages. We have always been dog owners ourselves and know that a family (or a holiday for that matter) isn't complete without the dog. It is also interesting to note that dog owners are invariably more careful to keep the cottages in good shape and leave no trace of their dog's holiday.
As regards the mods - I am not an offical sponsor of the site, although virtually a founder member of both the D3 and RRS sites (yes we swing both ways in our family ). Would happily donate 5% of all revenue from forum members booking the cottages to the forum's finances. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

Thanks though
Well I for one think it is a fair offer, given this is a company using the forum advertising their cottages, much like TC or JE.

DD, with all due respect I can handle this - Smarticus is a long-standing member of and contributor to all of my forums and as such I trust him, and didn't mind his offer being posted here. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Still on the cards. I was hoping to go to the NEC caravan show this week, but I can't as I'm working in Belfast for a week now. Matt
