Powergorilla Bargain - Battery power for Laptops/iPads/Phone |
|
I have a number of Power Monkey Products which are well made and do the job supplying back up and additional power for Laptops, phones, tablet computers (ipads) e.t.c.
There is a Powergorilla model that has changeable outlet voltages, it can be recharged using solar (additional cost for the panel) or mains. It will supply 2 x full charges to an ipad and give approx 6hrs extra life to a laptop. These retail at around £150 mark, the UK distributors website is here https://powertraveller.com/iwantsome/primatepower/powergorilla/
BestBuy are doing these on a special offer for £99.99 with FREE delivery, I just placed an order and have been given a delivery slot for this Monday. There are not many left, if you check the stores with your post code you will see few available, but if you order online you get one reserved and free delivery. Here are the details http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/product/1000117522/powergorilla.aspx
Now if you want to charge an ipad, due to the current draw you need a little adapter called a Gorilla pad, the cheapest place I have found for this is here, again with free delivery http://www.lovingoutdoors.co.uk/gorilla-pad-connector.html
For those of you that do a lot of camping or travel a lot and want to keep a power supply available, then this does the job, I have solar panel to plug in so can pretty much get a constant supply of power.
I have a selection of solar panels, but storing the power has always been the issue, this is the answer for me, recharge the powergorilla during the day and then recharge my phone, ipad e.t.c at night. Not enough power for large Engel fridges I'm afraid
I hope it is useful for some of you

Will you please stop posting! It's getting expensive!
No, seriously, I've bought some cracking bits and bops from your posts so thanks. Last one was the iPad stand which my kids are loving! I now need to purchase yet another one.
Keep up the good work.

Only 2 left in the country in Best Buy stores at the £99.99 price
No more left for home delivery, but 1 in Nottingham & 1 in Hayes Middlesex, both can be reserved online for in store collection only.
Seems it was a great deal, ordered mine yesterday and had a DHL confirmation by email that it will be with me before 12 noon tomorrow (Monday), great service over a weekend and free as well
