Intermittent front PDC

The front PDC on the new truck seems to be a bit erratic, it always engages with reverse but doesn't always work when going forward towards an object? The manual says it should work below 6mph. Am I doing something wrong or is it my first glitch Sad

Thanks Stu, so mine must be setup to cancel above 10mph and only come back on after selecting reverse or pressing the switch!

Think all the 2007 models do this. Must have upgraded in the 2006 model year.

On my second D3 and both have had PDC with a mind of its own. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Have a new PDC module fitted and that may fix it but mine has had one and it still plays up.

The revision is correct, front PDC comes on AUTOMATICALLY when engaging reverse (with rear PDC) then stays on when in D until speed exceeds 10mph. To activate when parking etc you MANUALLY press the dash switch and again it stays active until above 10 mph or ignition off.

I would be interested to know if I can have it re-programmed at the dealer to be always on when in D?

The programming is all in the parking aid control module. I think you can either have the old way or the new way, by seleceting an old or new module. I presume that LR would only supply the new module, so if you want it the old way you'd need to find an old module.
