Thread resurrection
Coming back to this as a 2016 project is to get the 2nd battery in my MY15....
As I now have stop/start in the 2nd battery box and Rear Air-Con in the passenger side rear boot section I'm wondering if anyone has found another good location?
Has anyone taken apart the rear drivers side panel in the boot? Would it fit in there before I start pulling a perfectly good car to bits?

cant see why you couldn't locate it on the drivers side ...you'll have to relocate the jack ( iv got mine in a box under second row seats ) , but other than it should be ok
spurred me on to fit mine back in today

I've got tow ropes, first aid and jumps in a wolf box at the mo so could relocate jack to that.
Will have to give it a whirl.... did you investigate battery types, dimensions and capacity much beforehand? Keen to see how compact I can make it without compromising capacity too much MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Great read, and loads of info. I've got two oddessy's less than a year old, and one that is three years old. So may go for running all three batteries.

Unfortunately not
There just an indication which battery / batteries are connected ( not the state of charge )
Watch this space as I have been told of something similar to what you were asking is on its way G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi Adrian,
Do you happen to have pictures on how you have your cables running from the front to the rear?
It looks like the space under the door sills is rather limited (and how the heck do you get those removed - forgot to d/l that part of the manual ). And yet I realise that's the only way to go ..
and where did you get those nice battery-lights/indicators?

No pics unfortunately
Basically through the gromet next to the brake servo
Then down the drivers side inner sill .
The plastic trim just pops off .. then you can access the cable tray underneath.
Once I got level with the back of the second row of seats .. I crossed over to the passenger side and then tucked up behind the boot panel
It's about the cable tray that I'm 'worried'.
I was thinking of running the additonal wires next to the looms present. But those are sitting under the tray. Is that what you've done or you just have them running on top of the cable tray?
Thanks for the reference.
