After 10k miles the rear seats & head rests have started to rattle quite badly on all but the smoothest roads. Not an issue on family outings etc. but on a long business trip it's starting to really annoy me as previously my D3 was a very quite cruiser, on par with many large saloons.
I didn't really notice any difference in ride quality after the VEP & that was done about 5k miles ago, but I suppose it could be linked.
I did read that others have similar rattles, has anyone cured these & if so how?
Is it a case of simply tightening up the rear seat mountings?
Thanks.LT.
P.S Yes I have turned up the stereo

My car became noticeably rattly after the enhancement. The rear seats in particular rattled and I had never been aware of this before. Now it has had a 'recallibration' at the back and I THINK it is less rattly and bumpy. I don't know if this is possible. It needs one of the technical people to explain. Either that or I am just getting used to it.

Me too mate 10K miles mine is 06 SE, It is getting the VEP on thurs along with suspension error sorting, and mine rattle like mad. They had better not when I get it back Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:
"Duratrac"

I had a rattle on the offside rear seat that was driving me mad. I got one of the kids to sit in the other seat and then work out where the rattle came from. It turned out to be the seat-belt receiver rattling in the seat recess. I proved it by wrapping a rag round it and then, as a permament cure, stuck a tiny piece of black felt on it -problem solved.

Got some seat rattles sorted by dealer. Apparently they just needed to lubricate the mechanism.
