Hi all,
Well it may not be too long before me d3's off to Auckland, NZ for my brother (around another 5 months or so).
Need to get some first hand experience of where you guys have brought things over.
The D3 is 200/55, is VAT registered over here, is in the name of my business on the log book, approx value (excluding vat) is around £5000 UK pounds.
I've had a look at NZ customs and NZTA websites for background info but just wanted some first hand advice

You will need to have the speedo converted to KM/H so price up a new 'cluster' and the cost of programming it....around and hour's labour to install and program

The speedo already has km/h on it, surely it doesn't need a new one for NZ ? Just needs flicking over to km's on the speedo rather than miles, any dealer with IDS can do that.
Character, have a look on www.aulro.com there's a fair few useful individuals on there when it comes to importing. I'll be importing my RRS to Oz later this year and they've been very helpful for me, so I'm sure the same will apply for NZ. Not sure who ships to NZ but the likes of Karman Shipping in Luton may be able to help you out. BV55 YZE, ex G4 Challenge RRS. So not a Disco 3. Well, not quite.
