Picked it up today as expected
It's the dog's test cles- even though I only manged 5 miles back from the dealers and average 3MPG - Oh God!
Flappy paddles flapped and self-erecting-gear-knob erected and really isn't difficult to use. Paddles work in D and it flashes up "command shift selected" which resets to D again after a 2 second pull on the + paddle - lightening quick changes. Haven't done the same in S mode yet though - ran out of A3 - as it seems quicker to me than the demo 2011 HSE
Need more time to read the manual but got Windows mobile phone Bluetooth sync in 30 second with full phone book. Ipod sync via ordinary ipod cable (they're refunding me the £25 for the ipod lead as its not needed now!) with full albums and tracks. Windows media bluetooth synced with album selection. And store upto 10 CD's on the hard drive.. I think the reworked screen interface is easier too.
Hopefully some pics at the weekend if anyone's interested

Nice one Clive!
If one leaves the paddles alone, one gets the best fuel economy (adaptive drive technology thingy), so I'm told....
Would love to see some very detailed pics!

Yes, I wondered about the paddles too
Maybe that was the cause of the 3mpg
Will try some pics at the weekend - once I've dug out the Box Brownie from the loft.

Very, very jealous....
Having broken the rules and managed to swing a D4 as my company ride, I thought I was doing well... until one of my colleagues used my precedent to go and get himeself a MY2012 ordered...
I'm not bitter...
The saving grace is that his BMW has already gone back and due to delays in getting the D4, he's currently running around in a VW Sharan!
TAXI!!!!
Clive... can't wait for more info and, of course, photos...
Good on yer... D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY
D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)
D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)
Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Blimey folks - breaking news. Just having a pre-prandial fiddle and trying to get you lot some photies and have just found out the bloody thing will play FULL screeen Video DVD
NOW I do not have the Hybrid TV just the standard HSE Premium Audio without the £1200 800W Prologic stuff. Stuck a standard DVD in the CD slot and hey presto it just started playing
I am amazed and the sound and picture quality are amazing. I think you can USB connect a dvd player to it as well as singles in the slot.
Haven't found the popcorn machine yet BUT is there nothing this thing can't do
Photos next I hope but bear with me.

Blimey Wiggs,
How did you know that - have you seen one in the flesh too?
According to the destructions, which I just checked, I think you're right about the USB stick - but there is mention of the drive format needing to be correct such as FAT32 etc. If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Sorry Folks,
Can't seem to get my images to upload. Got them into the upload section of my gallery but once "continued" it chunters away and then says "0 Files Uploaded"
Any ideas - even tried just one image at a time and I don't think I'm anywhere near the max file size either?

Did you export them from a photo editing suite? I had problems a while back with exported pictures from Lightroom. I resolved it by limiting the file size and the pixel count. It also didn't like it if they had started life as RAW and were converted to jpeg......

Nope . straight from the Canon compactflash card in a USB card reader, opened in Windows Media. They are jpegs.
I think it IS file size as I tried again with some much smaller files and they worked but all files I tried were indicating WAY below the KB size that the Site says I should be able to upload
Will keep trying and re shoot the pics at a lower resolution on the actual camera first. If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer
