Ive been offered 2012 D4 arriving in 3 weeks. |
|
As above I've been offered a cancelled order HSE with 20" wheels that should be arriving in three weeks. I'm tempted as I regret selling my previous D4 a while back but was wondering what kind of discount I should be aiming for. Being a cancelled order might make it a little tricky to get them to budge though ?
Regards
Scott

Personally I's contact a broker such as Direct Vehicle Sales at Ripon and get a price, and then ask the dealer to match it.

i was informed that if I placed an order I would most likely get a D4 HSE for late October delivery anyway. I was just slightly surprised to be offered this vehicle for delivery in 3 weeks.
I'll try ringing a few brokers and see what figures they have but in my mind I was thinking 8% discount ?

Would be very surprised if an order placed now resulted in a vehicle on your drive before 2012 to be honest. Demand is outstripping supply and therefore discounts are not what they once were. 9% sounds very high to me. There is always the NFU discount though!

Members of the NFU are entitled to a discount on new Landrover Defenders and Discoveries. It varies with the model but is up to 5%.
To qualify you have to have been a member for 3 months before you can get a voucher.

What is the deal with this NFU membership? It seems that you can no longer join online - you have to talk to one of their representatives. How dear is the membership and what level of growing is required to be considered.
