FBH connector question
Is the FBH connector block (the one in which you are supposed to use PIN 2 for the W-BUS signal) available somewhere ? I do not really know what to search for on ebay or electronics stores. Or does anyone have a used one I can buy ? Preferbly the "old" type with a cable already attached to PIN 2. Mine didnt have that cable attached and when wiring everythiing up for the 1533 and RF remote installation, I managed to get a (too large I think) pin firmly stuck in the connector, and it doesnt make proper contact with the pin on the heater side
If I remove the connector and manually touch the W-BUS cable to the pin on the heater it starts fine with the remote.

If you do a search on Ebay for Webasto your will find a supplier in Turkey has various connectors.
You can take the connector apart there is a post on the board somewhere, I just used a pin from a cd power lead from a pc just cut it open and use that.
You can get the pins from the board have you looked at the shop or ask Martin if he has some left.

The shop Oh, if only I had known about that one a few weeks ago. I'll see if I can get the stuck pin out and then get the cable from the shop. Otherwise the Ebay link seems to do the trick.
Thanks a lot both of you,

Bizz,
I believe it is different.
The Thermo top V can be fitted with three different types as standard (the Landrover version is an AMP connector now made by Tyco) but various car manufactures get their own fitted. I have only seen a photo of the Thermo Top C.

Bizz,
Hope I have understood you correctly but the one in the Disco 3 is a Thermo Top V and not a C (unless yours is different but I doubt it) It will tell you on the side.
I had some info on the C, will see if I can find it.
