My car is coming up for its 2 year service. If I use a LR specialist rather than a main dealer, will it affect the warranty? The specialist would of course use only genuine Land Rover parts.
edit: sorry wrong section, should be in D4

I got a better deal last year March, difficult to believe they are more than Stratstone's. Did you speak to David and mentioned you are a forum member? A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

Thanks guys, checked Beadles, they were £100 higher than lowest main dealer quote (and that was including a 20% discount), and just for a laugh checked Stratstone, they were £300 more than lowest main dealer quote.
Please, please make sure you check around before booking your car in anywhere, These variations are quite ridiculous.

A 3yr service with beadles offer is £350 which is the same as RCV, so don't know what main dealer is doing it for £250
Maybe name the dealer that has the lowest quote as you have not said

Quote from Beadles for 2 year D4 service was £668 inc VAT, £534.78 after 20% discount. So not sure where your £350 comes from. D4 can only be 2 years old, maybe that was for a D3?

Yes D3, you never said D4
So where is this low priced main dealer?

Sorry if not clear, this is an 09 Discovery 4 TDV6 HSE.
Wimbledon is the lowest dealer so far, £460 inc VAT

OK, have no experience with posh D4's just a simple D3 lad
I wouldn't go all the way over to Wimbledon from Kent to save £100, time and fuel would out do any benefit, plus the main dealer as looked after mine from new which has its bonuses

Neither would I, but they're all fairly close to me, and the difference between the highest and the lowest is £300, which on a £460 bill is a variation of 40%, is I think you'd agree, substantial.
