Boot panels removal
Good afternoon all,
can anyone give me tips or pics on how to remove the side plastic panels (C-Pillar) in the boot/extra seats area?
I want to install a hardwired inverter in the left space... and yes, I did search the obvious "panel removal" and "trim removal" but I only found this which is only a start as we know...
Thanks

If you mean the panels next to the removable panel where the tow hitch goes, then these are plastic welded into place as I found out trying to get in behind the panel
If you really need it off then just pull it free it'll break the plastic welds, however you'll have to glue it back into place

couldn't you post it here and/or put it in the Wiki...? The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Have a look on the GTR site - the Accessory Instructions for fitting the Towbar Stowage include the removal of the side panel ...Regards,

all, the C-pillar document combined with the tow stowage instructions seem to cover it enough for me to have a go, I think....
grzesiul if you've done it and have any tips to avoid (accidental ) breaking of any bits, please do tell
Thanks again!

here it all comes with crap pics taken half asleep lol:
first as pdf says pull the seals in places requested.... around the door area and boot area, than,
no1; release the clip arrowed:
no2: undo seat belt bolt bottom one and undo the screw holdin the panel under the cap top arrow:
no3. undo cargo retention bolts as on this picture:
and this one and remove that bit they hold:
reason to remove retention bits is this:
than undo 3 screws and remove the following:
it is because it holds the trim here:
all removed just pull the panel to release it all pull out of the car....
it is all held by clips like that:
in the following places:
and two clips like that;
and thats about it with pics
safe
