FS Anyone fancy a spotless & remapped TT coupe |
|
Neighbour of mine, not computer literate, offer to take some photos, now having to list it in a few places at his expense - need me garage ridge tiles re-doing and he's a roofer
Will post more info, but just as a taster, 2001 with private plate, 78k, 1.8 t-quatro, 225bhp with remap now 255BHP/40% extra torque and upgraded brakes, discs, wheels, exhausts, spolier and professionally lowered by www.turner-race-devlopments.co.uk in 2009 at a cost of over £2600. Documented service history including cam belt change, leather seats, concert stero, bi-zeons/washer, spotless bodywork/wheels, always garaged, £5250 ONO with donation to site

I'm currently deciding whether to replace our old Megane Coupe, and was thinking about another '4 wheel drive' to sit alongside the D3. This looks like much more fun than the old model Freelander's I've been looking at!
I would have quite fancied it, and the reg number is my initials too!
Just a shame Wiltshire's a bit far away from me though. 2006 D3 S (I use it when I can prise the keys off the wife!)
2009 Astra CDTi SXi ecoflex (I use this when I can't!)

Character - cheers for the transportation offer but SWMBO didn't look too chuffed when I showed her the TT earlier. Me thinks she would prefer that I put the cash towards replacing the manual S D3 with an auto HSE instead!
(Could also be something to do with the fact that both cars would have my initals on too!)
Looks like I'm resigned to driving the Megane for a while yet then 2006 D3 S (I use it when I can prise the keys off the wife!)
2009 Astra CDTi SXi ecoflex (I use this when I can't!)

Seriously thought about this as a way of taking the Cash Award instead of my company car. Its too painful looking at all the options out there
Had one before and put 145k miles on it without a glitch.
The "lowered" bit worried me though from an insurance point of view.
I assume the "map" can be taken off to reduce insurance without hassle D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

just dug out the invoice dated August 09 by VW & Audi Centre, Stonehouse, Glos which I assume might have been the supplying dealer to the previous owner coz there are some items done FOC:
Replace cambelt & water pump £245.18
Supply & Fit Koni FSD suspension, supply & fit Eibach coil springs £700.00
Supply & Fit Milltek exhast system £506.22
Supply & Fit front discs and uprated pads £330.00
Remap engine ECU £304.34
Replace fault air mass meter FOC
Replace worn front wishbone bushes FOC
MOT vehicle FOC
Fuel £20.00
MATERIAL
Wishbone bushes 2 @ £24.80
Airmas meter 1@£78.20
Panel Air Filter 1 @ £40.00
Brake fluid £20.00
TOTAL £2606.05 inc vat
Just spoke to em - to take off the remap is £45 and at present gives an extra 30BHP (so now 255BHP) and 40% extra torque, they can also do a "economy" remap, whatever that is, these are them, which is the same owner as the VW/Audi Centre: www.turner-race-developments.co.uk and confirmed that they did the work on the vehicle
