D3 A-bar to D4?
I dont like the "half" bar which comes as the only original accessory for D4. Anybody knows whether the good old D3 A-bar fits to D4?D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto

I doubt a swap will work, D3 bumpers are shaped differently compared to D4.16 D4 Landmark

THE original D4 spotter
The bumper light mounts are also different, so I imagine the 'A' Bar mounting will be different as well.I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

It's done!
Aparently it wasn't a big job. The main fixing point is there (under the front bumper) and although the consoles do not match the newly styled bumper completely, the bar can be mounted straight from the box.
Our next step will be connecting the D3 spotlights (driving lamps).

At the risk of appearing entirely negative, I have to ask why on earth would you want to put that ugly black A bar onto the front of what is IMHO without a doubt a beautifully designed LR?

A) We like it
B) It protects the driving lamps
C) It helps to absorb much of the damage in case of frontal crash (and believe me, I know what I am writting about) D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto

Cannot see that a soft a bar will save much in an accident they are mainly for show, the a bar will just push into front of vehicle causing further damage, may be of use in a parking shunt at 2-3 mph but not much else,

I personally don't like it but I did not like it on the D3 either. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is whether the owner likes it

Personally I prefer it on the D3 and think the D4 looks better 'naked'.
But certainly looks far better than the oem D4 one.
But big credit to you for tackling a job that many [me included] thought was impossible.
