front cornering light question

Hi all, on my 2009 HSE & all previous D3s the front cornering lights came on independantly of the direction indicators, but on my 2011 hse they only come on with the indicators, which is nowhere near as useful. Does anyone know if it's possible to make them work independantly of the indicators? I should have stated that my 11 hse is a sport, but I don't think that is too relevant.

regards to all

Do you mean that you have a MY11 HSE Range Rover Sport or something else (I don't quite understand what you mean)?

Static bending lights is where the cornering lamps are controlled by the AFS ECU (adaptive lighting) and come on when you turn the wheel (dependant on steering angle and vehicle speed).

If you do not have the adaptive bi-xenons then they will only work with the indicators (assuming that the cornering lights function is activated in the CCF).

Oh....and I'm talking about how it would have worked on your previous D3s - not sure if there would be any changes with it being a D4 in this respect although I doubt it Thumbs Up

it will only come on if you are moving forward ...it wont do it by just turning the wheel side to side while parked up

thanks paulP, & Wiggs. that answers the question, all my previous d3 & 4's had adaptive lights, but my rrsport hasn't got adaptives which is why they won't work independant of the indicators.
thanks for your help
