If you manage to get another one I might be interested in your broken one for the front clear lens/cover since I have a spare one that has a damaged front.

I picked up one ages ago on ebay to practice opening up beore I messed with my own lights.

I have a XBC500442 NAS for spares open to offers if its any good.

It is a right side obviously for LHD but when I took it apart (needed to amber indicator lens) they all look the same inside (and out) tbh

Let me know Thumbs Up

Thanks for the replies guys, DAZSEAR noted, if I get something sorted I'll bear it in mind, Thumbs Up
GSLRO - I think its the solenoid thats sticking in the Hi-beam position, no amount of working it/lubrication seems to work, does your one have a working solenoid? If so how easy is it to open them up and replace? Confused
thanks

Hi George, bit like the blind leading the blind here! Laughing The solenoid is within the headlamp unit and when energised pulls the dip-flap up allowing a Hi-beam, I can see it from the bulb aperture but to access/remove it I think the lamp would almost certainly have to be opened up which I'm not 100% confident in doing, had hoped YOU might know! Confused
Still hoping for a complete replacement unit???? Rolling Eyes
