2012 MY IPOD lead

Being a tight Censored , I kept the IPOD lead from my 2011 D4, but guess what? They have changed the car plug!

Wouldn't mind, but just headed off on holiday for three weeks, and too late now to get one. Looks like another USB now.

Just popped the IPOD and lead in the car, and was about to fit it whilst waiting at Eurotunnel when...............!!!!!!!!!!!

SWMBO not happy!

Car is a dream, the changes over the last one are a real improvement. The display is excellent, and sounds like Moira Stewart now guides you. Lots of additional features, voice commands work well, phone system superb,

Calculator, Orkney Grey looks fantastic! I would say better than Stornoway. Had a lot of very positive comments about it, and in the sun here in France, it really sparkles.

Hoofed it down to Folkestone, and with 5 on board and luggage averaged 29.1, which was improving as I drove. I'm well pleased.

Softuk, I did exactly the same thing, kept the fancy lead from the FFRR and now find it uses the white lead that comes with the ipod Whistle Whistle

"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.

Proof, if needed, that the D4 is capable of doing reasonable fuel economy! Nice car, Pottsy!

Nice car. Great photos. I think the privacy glass really improves the looks of the D4, especially on the lighter models.

Welcome to the site - great first post!

I see that the dash screen now uses the 'empty space' for radio station details. Does it do track names from iPod too?

I don't do Apple... but it does show track names from my USB stick. The majority of that space is used for satnav graphics (turns and roundabouts and so on, with a countdown). And of course all the setup menus and oil filling or door open graphics and stuff.

Stunning photos!! I've just ordered a MY12 in black, I was originally going to go for grey, but the one they had in the showroom looked a bit flat, but seeing this one makes me wonder if I made the right choice! Got about 6 weeks to go, so getting excited now!! 8)
