Squeeky bushes

My suspension bushes are squeeky over bumps. Only the front. Am I correct in presuming it would probably be the upper suspension arm bushes? There is no clunking as with the lower arm bushes - just a squeek-squeek, sqeek-squeek. Will a bit of lube be ok - or is it bad for the rubber? Rolling Eyes

I have a similar problem - it seems heat related with mine, when the vehicle is cold theres no squeak, once I've taken it for a drive its squeaky. I did have new bushings fitted by the dealer, so maybe they're a tad tight? Suspension operates just fine.

Interestingly I was off-roading with serious squeaking then I waded through a 2 foot deep creek and when I came out the other side the squeaking had gone away! It stayed very quiet for a couple of weeks after this also. Then eventually came back.

I tried some silicone lube but it had no effect on the squeaking, I applied it to all front bushings including the roll bar bushings. I guess I'll just have to wade through creeks every now and then.

Funny that!
My wife tells me her bush squeaks on the bumps but a good lube application
usually cures the problem Whistle
