Hi All,
I am having an issue with my ABS module, everything works as it should, I don't get any codes or lights when I plug my IID tool in, no issues raised. However I have just purchased a Nanocom at great expense to enable me to edit the CCF files to a much greater extent than the IID tool, however when I plug it in it wont let me proceed as it says not all ECUs have the same VIN. Upon doing a vin check VIN 2 (ABS Module) VIN is different to the others. I can only assume that someone has replaced the module with a 2nd hand one in the past. Nanocom locks me out completely and wont let me do anything. I have spoken to BBS and they just say take it to a dealer. From the limited info I can find online the ABS modules arent re-programmable and only new ones can take on the VIN but at £2200 for a new module seems excessive considering its in full working order.
Does anyone know if the SDD can re-program the modules? I know IID cant.
