Wanted - V8 Caliper Brakets(Front) |
|
Before I order some new ones to upgrade my TDV6 Brakes to V8 ones, does anyone have any Front Caliper Brackets hanging around that they'd rather sell. I believe the part number for my 55plate car is SEH500011.
I'll also be buying Discs of course, so if anyone has any new ones they've not fitted for some reason I'd probably be interested in them too.
I have a complete set up for the rear already, so don't need anything for the Blunt end.
Thanks

, thanks for the warning.
My front pads are getting low, and the discs are getting to the point where they will need changing soon, so it's the right time for me to do the conversion.
Might have to just change the pads for a while.

That's great, can I ask for first dibs on them until this evening please
It looks like I'll have to wait for the caliper brackets anyway, so I'll make a few phone calls today and let you know one way or the other by early evening.
Thanks

No problem, I'd forgotton I had them until I saw your post. This is definitely a worthwhile modification. I did it on my D3 and I was going to remove the caliper holders before selling it but unfortunately the deal happened two days before I travelled back to Algeria and I didn't have time

Thanks TLO.
I'll probably be on the phone later or Monday to order some.
The info I had, from on here, was that the SEH500011 was for cars up to 6A388290, and the SEH500013 was for cars after 6A388290. Mine is a 5A..... No. so I was going with the SEH500011 part.
