Hi Guys
Well the D3 has just clocked up 100,000K and needs a service. Does anyone have a good mechanic that looks after their LR in the Townsville area.
I think I will need to have the compressor replaced/repaired too. Maybe I can get it cheaper over here in the USA and ship it to Oz.
For those enjoying the warm Australian weather, think of us over here in DC who are enjoying temps at -25C with windchill and have seen 1 day above freezing in the past 2 weeks. Today it is a mild -8C at 2.30pm and that is our high so far.  Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar,side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Thanks for that, very helpful. I am catching up with the local LR boys here in the US next month (once it warms up a bit) so will ask them about compressor. Will be heading down to OZ in March and up to visit daughter in Townsville may take it myself. Son in Law is in army so surely he can get one of the army boys to fit it for me  Take the road less traveled.
