Hello all,
My FIL owns an MG A and needs grease for his axles. It needs to have Molybdeen or graphite in it and must be *very* sticky. The grease he was using just leaks out.
Having been in the business, I pointed him toward the grease that HGV companies use to lube the trailer coupling dish (dunno what the correct word is) because this is sticky as h*ll, lubes perfectly. I cannot get hold of a spec for it. When I was a little boy and sat on one of the tractors, I know my mum was not pleased and threw away a new jeans.
FIL went to a DAF dealer in his city, but the grease they are giving him does not even leave traces on your hands if you touch it. Well that was certainly different in the past.
So the question is this: does anyone know of a supplier where FIL can buy proper grease that suits the job? Only a small quantity is needed, 500 ml will last him for years...
TIA for any responses.
regards,

I use Millers oils and grease on my Jensen here's the link to their grease selection:

Click on greases on the left hand side.
In the past I've phoned them and they've been really knowledgeable & helpful.

Iirc, site sponsor Opie Oils are Millers stockists. Your FIL might get what he needs via them for a discount?

Just checked their site... they have like 20 kinds of grease so there must be something that fits the MG.
Thanks for the heads-up.
