Hi , Friends
I was wondering if i could check or monitor a transmission oil temperature on my Faultmate.i changed tranny fluid yesterday and wanted to check a temp. thru this device, but could not find an appropriate app for that . Can somebody help me from fellow owners, please??

Yes you can (almost). Go to Transmission, Transmission Control and Contrl Module Internal Temperature.
It won't be the oil temperature, but will give you a close enough idea  Bodsys Brake Bible

That is what i did yesterday , cuptered some live data, but did not see exact oil temp... as you posted Bodsy... Thanks I thought , that i am missing something, but apparently not..

I seem to remember that there was talk on the BBS website that future software upgrade will give this caperbillity to see like a dash board to monitor this type of information but not heard anything about it lately.

Thanks, I guess is back to an infrared temp gun idea for now.
Another question though...
I want to update software on compressor and transmission.The last update I had on these units where done in 2007 and 2008. I know that I had a suspension overhaul kit installed , cos I see some white marker numbers on my compressor and that suppose to be an indicator of this particular kit installed. My question is regarding a famous suspension compressor software update to prevent excessive work of the compressor, cousing it to prematurely fail, eventually.If I download a newest compressor software update, will it include a patch , that use to be a separate upload or it is a separate patch, still, an I have to go to dealers for this particular piece???

I am not aware of any software patch only the software upgrades that we get from BBS unless Wiggs or Bodsy know of one..I certainly don't remember seeing any posts about a patch for the compressor but there could be?..

there is a software update for the compressor which reduces the pressure it needs to build up to. Usually done when changing fr a new compressor and changing the relay.
It's a couple of minutes to update, quite easy.
It should be on 1.29/29a Flack. Don't think it's labelled patch, but is just the most up to date software.

Bodsy, you say version 1.29 and by that you mean version of VE , right?
My VE is 1.27 d , is that mean that i will not be able to download this suspension compressor software with an older VE ?
Also, I pulled a software number from tranny control module settings
NNV502900 -software nr.
=THC500012- boot software ID
Are those numbers what i should be looking for in terms of updates in BBs website or mi got it all wrong??
I think it would be wise to apply this patch proactively to simply extend life of the compressor, also as far as the relay dealer sold me a 70 AMPS instead of usual 60AMPs, is this a new requirement now?

1.29a ia the latest version,(yes of VE) so some of the VBF files were also updated.
Suggest you download the latest version and all relevant files from BBS forum & install. You'll need to clear the server & re-transfer any files on the server that you currently store there using FFL.
Re read the FlashFileLoader User Guide (as I've just done for something else) and it will remind you how to identify newer versions etc.
The newer relay just means it can handle 70amps instead of 60 amps so I guess may be part of assisting in the cure. Bodsys Brake Bible

Anyone advise which module to upgrade for Compressor, Is it Ride level, don't want to  anything else!
