The scratch is bad enough to make an awful 'oval mark' appearance when the light is on hence my wanting to fix it if possible; it's like the light was rubbed by steel wool in the centre. Not too deep though.Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Si4 Coupe Lux in Orkney Grey

if the scratches are quite fine I'd try the acrylic polish first, if that doesn't remove the scratching then go for a fine grade of wet and dry and then acrylic polish again.
The consensus seemed to be various polishes for light scratches and/or wet & dry or 'specialist' type kits if they're deeper.2006 D3 S (I use it when I can prise the keys off the wife!)
