Just got a set for D4 and looking at inst it would appear you need a captive nut tool similar to a pop rivet gun, is this correct, if so is there any way round this? If not as anyone got one I could borrow please. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I did it without the captive nut on my D3. I think that I used a self tapping screw but it was a few years ago so a bit hazy. Offer it up with that in mind and see where it takes you. Put a dob of paint in the hole before you screw in to deter the rust watch beetle.
