We have snow
Yesterday it started to snow
Today I went out an measured that it had snowed about 40cm. This picture does not give the whole truth as the wind had driven some of the snow away.
The windscreen was clean and unfrozen, thanks to Webasto and Defa electric heating systems.
Guess did I had any troubles to drive to work? None! Some others did as I saw dozens of cars, trucks and buses that were stuck or have went off road due to excessive amount of snow and bad weather.
D3 is the best winter car I have ever had. None of the Volvos or the Saab or anything else were the same. (Even that they are heavily advertised as being designed for nordic climate.)

How did you find the road tyres and Snow setting ?
Our snow tends to be very wet and slippery... I guess yours is drier and less slippery ???

It's fun watching the 6 o'clock news when there has been snow down and around London you see everything coming to a standstill on the roads and it's snowed something 3mm.

Only 4 here, but the little snow flake reminds me it's Winter.
As you can see, when the temperature drops, I have my very own Fuel Burning 'Eater"D3 HSE V8...
Saw -1 heading over the tops to Manchester this morning. No smell of diesel for me, I'm doing 60 within the first 30 seconds of my journey.

I assume you're in Buxton now then? You're going to see some snow up in the highest town in England!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
