Anyone know any Discovery 3 specialists in Hertfordshire ?
My newly purchased disco is out of manufacturers warranty so not keen to start using official land rover dealers for servicing and repairs. I live near junction 6 of the A1 so was wondering if anyone could reconmend a reliable land rover specialist who knows what they are doing at non dealership prices? thanks.
Contact one of the site sponsors like 10forCash, he's a mobile D3 technician, works all over the country and comes highly recommended. Email him at iain@offroad-essentials.com or through the email button in his profile, he tends not to respond to PMs as quickly as emails.

Aylmer looks good, will give them a call. Thanks for the suggestion and good to know they come reconmended.
On a seperate note does the D3 need any form of belts changing on the engine at any particular time ? Did call a local official Land Rover dealer and they genuinely didnt seem to know which I thought was amazing.
Mine is a 51 plate and done 50k so not sure if it is an age thing or a year thing ?
thanks

Took it into Alymer this morning. Really nice guys and just hooked it up to the diagnostic machine for me and they said it was nothing to worry about. Just the battery getting low as my wife is doing quite a few short journeys. Good to have a local independant and will use them for all work in the future. thanks again for the suggestion.
