Filling Stations M5?
Happy New Year !
Dragging the tin tent down to St. Ives this summer, and obviously will need to re-fuel at some point, (Lancaster to Exeter junction 325 ish miles), just wondered if any regular M5 users had a prefered service station for re-fuelling?
Last year took a Jerry can and topped up on way, but short of room this year for that!

Other than the usual services, it depends how far off the M5 you want to travel
Junctions 12 & 13 have service stations within half a mile, that are cheaper than M/way services

The cheapest around is Morrisons at Cribbs Causeway, M5 J17 but to be honest it isn't worth the grief of leaving the M5 to queue at the pumps with a tintent on and then queue to rejoin M5, A PITA.
Keep going south and get off M5 J20, Clevedon, down slip road, turn right, Clevedon Garages within 2 Minutes with plenty of room and cheaper than Dick Turpin Services Member of the carrot crank club
Embarrassingly in for the 2nd round, bought another two

Come off at Taunton @ jct 25 M5 and Sainsburys is within 1/4 mile and 2 roundabouts away, cheapest around TLO has left the building.......

Very useful, thanks chaps I agree with Frapp, can be a hassle venturing off route whilst towing the wobbly box, so will look to something close to M5.
Thanks for your replies.

Asda have a supermaket at J2 M5, and just before Xmas opened a petrol station which has direct access onto the J2 roundabout (so you can drop off the M/way and straight back on again)
Deisel is currently 136 per litre, about 2p cheaper than most other supermarket prices around here.
Anyone heding south via the top bit of the M5 should find it usefull
