Fuel Filter - which One??
Hi there, I'm due to change the fuel filter on my '05 plate TDV6, I know there is a difference between early and later models but which MAKE should I get as the pricing varies dramatically Delphi? Bearmach? Britpart? dealer? Whats the consensus on here?

I got one quite recently from duckworth parts (on here) genuine LR filter incl mounting bracket, £35 delivered if the offer is still on. Great service.

For something like a fuel filter, Genuine Parts every time. Wasn't there a thread about this a while back when there were some problems experienced after fitting an aftermarket filter.

The 'only' aftermarket one I would consider is Delphi (which is who makes the OEM one) the only diference apart from cost is it says 'Delphi' instead of 'Landrover' on the box and canister Never get mad - get even !!

Hi
I spoke to 4-tech when ordering a service kit and said about my concerns regarding a non oem fuel filter and I was told they had a few problems with the later 07 onwards filtre but never on the older type. I took this advice and fitted a bearmach filter and haven't had any problems.

How unusual, a LR dealer not knowing exactly what it and it's fellow dealers are doing regarding servicing costs - I'm so surprised (NOT)
