Lakes holiday cottage

It’s my old mans 70th birthday in April and have been tasked to find and book a cottage in the lakes for a few days where the family can go to celebrate my dads birthday, will be looking at going late April or may, does anyone have any recommendations of where we can stay?

Cheers
Michael

Would need 3 bedrooms for the trip, so sadly that rules out Patterdale.
Iguana - if you could send details of the Wales and D&G pads I’ll have a look at them.

Cheers
