Independant Tyre Fitter - Wilts/Glous |
|
I'm looking for an independant tyre fitter in the Swindon/Cirencester area that will be able to fit two partworn tyres to the D4 before trading it in after the New Year. Any recommendations out there? 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

Hi.
I use Geoff Tyres - good for Cirencester area.
He was best price on a set of GG AT's on my D3. I can get his number from my boy if you need it. He does all the farms round by use. He has now got the guy working for him who used to be the manager at Kwik Fit D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

That would be good, don't need any tyres just someone to fit the ones I've got. Thanks for the quick reply. 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

I use Imperial tyres (around £12) if the wheels being taken off the d3 and then refitted or Kwik Fit by the Oasis if just taking old tyre and replacing with new one - donuts/soft drinks all round on those occassions coz the computerized till does'nt have a default for tyre swop overs

Used Imperial in the past but will they put part used tyres onto the rims??, most tyre places seem reluctant and I don't really blame them as they want the sales of new. 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

I have needed swaps similar to this in the past, I just walk in with a £10 or £20 note in my hand depending on what I want and it's job done.....only because as character says the billing of swaps doesn't compute....not because I want to encourage the staff to take cash for off piste jobs Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:
"Duratrac"
