Travelling to Swansea tomorrow
I'm on a flying visit to Swansea tomorrow, will doing the M6,5,50 A40, etc to the M4. Its a long trip, there and back to Stockport, so I'll be counting D3's.

Will you be on the A449 or not? I saw one of those camera vans in a layby on there the other week? I assume they operate on the A40 too - there's a 40mph roadwork section just thru the tunnels near MonmouthSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I thought you were a Cardiff boy Chris
Swansea is actually undergoing a complete refit centered around the Marina area, give it 5 to 7 years and it will be as desirable as Cardiff. Anyway ...I come from Newport which really is in the bowels of humanity 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Roadworks now finished!!! The "welcome wagon" is usually about 2 miles S of A40 turn off to Abergavenny but has a good sight line N up the A449. Welsh police really know how to lay on a welcome!

Not aspiring to much then eh? What are they doing, knocking it flat?
