Well, in the central arm rest under the lid, I have 2 ports, one for ipod and another USB.
Can anyone post a link to ebay or a site where i can purchase the right ipopd lead that will enable "charging" when plugged in????
I tried the usual ipod cable in the USB dock but that doesn't even read the ipod, let alone charge it, the ipod lead currently in the car will not charge my ipod either ... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The lead is available from any franchised LR dealer...........worth paying the extra for (shop around). It came free with my D4 when new! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

What year is the car. Early ones came with a lead but it did not charge I pod new leads were available from LR at cost but cheaper of e bay . MY12 uses I pod lead. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Mine (59 plate) came with the lead which charges third gen iPod/iPhone nicely. 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
