We have ours on constant whilst using it set at 18 degrees and turn it up or down when needed. Our programmer has the ability to change temperature with time but we don't use that function. However ours is 6 years old and in a Fleetwood so it might be different with your caravan DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Your link does not work. First off if it is the same as a Bailey you need to find the switch to turn it on, the panel appears live all the time but the heater does not work until the master switch is on. Look at the panel and push the centre button, panel should light up, use left right keys to skroll right until a small thermometer symbol appears on top line, use up down button to raise lower the temp to desired level, figure appears in middle of diplay, skroll right again till flame appears on top row and use up down buttons to select off or on dependant if you are running on gas, skroll right again to select a 1,2,3,kw symbol for when running on electric, you can use up down arrows to increase the KW from 1-3 if required. Heating should now start assuming you have selected a higher temp than ambient. A small round circular arrow will appear on top row to show pump is running. However if the hot water has been filled this will take priority and heat before heating cuts in.

With Alde you can run the heating even if you have drained down your hot/cold water system. As Russell said you need to turn on the master switch; on our Fleetwood it's by the front lounge seating and has a neon light, but might be different on your van. I agree the manual is confusing but it's worth taking some time to study it - Alde wet heating is a really great system. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

The blue light with four arrows is the control panel and not the master switch, you need to locate the master switch first. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
