That's a good idea, that would have saved me struggling when I fitted mine

One point to note, when ProSpeed fitted mine, the grommets were removed and the holes covered with the sticky covers from the tapped holes. The most tricky part was removing the door seals before fitting the new ones!D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Yep, jacks are hand for many tasks and I would not have been able to fit them on my own without one.

Does anyone know when the step inserts are likely to make an appearance?

Realistically about 4 weeks. The reason it's taking so long is because every time we make a change it takes our supplier 2 weeks to run it again on their machines.
Thanks,

Presumably any day now as (as of tomorrow) Ben's post was 6 weeks ago.

Spoke to Ben last week, and the update was for the inserts to be available from mid September at the earliest.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Ouch.
Further away now than they were in the beginning, suggesting that they are starting from scratch. This will be an epic fail if they do not materialize.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

According to Ben, the problem lies in the fact that they aren't manufacturing the inserts themselves. A third party is actually making them, but every time the design gets tweaked, it's at least a 3 week turn round!
I totally agree with you Robbie, it would be an epic fail if they can't get it sorted, and some very unhappy customers!D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
