| Highways Agency D3 saves the day |

Saw what could have been a very nasty incident unfold on the opposite carriageway of the M62 today, at Junction 23, I was eastbound.
There was a car stopped in the overtaking lane of the westbound carriageway with its bonnet blown back over the screen, the occupants were out of the vehicle stood in the road and desparately trying to warn oncoming traffic. They were at great risk.
My wife was just reaching for the phone to call 999 when we saw a Highways D3 executing a rolling block. I'll bet the car occupants were very relieved to see the D3 stopping the traffic.
