New (to me) black HSE arrived yesterday

New (to me) black HSE arrived yesterday

After buying our first Discovery (D3) a few weeks ago to replace a Ford Galaxy we liked it so much we decided to go for a newer D4.

Had a 911 Turbo as a second car but the children were getting too big for the back seats so it wasn't getting used and decided to sell it to fund the newer D4.

Decided on black with almond and viewed a few cars. Found the ideal spec one at LR Woodford in London. It was higher mileage than others we had viewed but was cheaper and had more options.

Couldn't get the time off to view the car so after numerous emails / phone calls to confirm the condition of the car with the dealer decided to buy the car blind on condition it was as described and delivery was arranged for Saturday.

The car arrived Saturday lunchtime and looked superb. Drives really well and has a few extras on it that I didn't know about.

Spec is:

59 reg HSE
One owner
Black with almond premium leather
20" alloys
Privacy glass
Surround cameras
Rear entertainment screens
Heated steering wheel
TV
Roof rails
Mood lighting
iPod cable
Towing electrics

Driven about 100 miles so far and it feels a big step-up from D3.

Looking forward to adding a few bits to it and hopefully will be keeping the car for some time.

this is my hse on the left next to my mates hse outside work
i had to laugh coz mine is a later registered-dec09 has half the miles on the clock and i paid 10grand less than he did.i also got ivory leather compared to his black
