D4 ordered
Went to look at a freelander to replace my 2011 L200 doublecab Warrior (foolish purchase, I know ) and ended up ordering a new 255 3.0SDV6 GS in Indus Silver. Delivery estimate for the end of January....cant wait
You won't regret it, FL2 is a good vehicle but the D4 is outstanding, especially compared to an L200

I had a D3 XS manual that developed clutch woes, my usual dealer wasnt very helpful when I wanted to upgrade to a D4 in july last year so I had a bit of a strop and went to Mistubishi.....and have missed the D3 every day since!!
The freelander was a good excuse to get 'er indoors into the right frame of mind for changing vehicles, once she sat back in a Discovery the freelander was quickly overuled!
Haven't driven one with the new 8spd auto, only the 09/10 spec so I'm looking forward to it immensely.

Woo hoo! Got confirmation from the dealer that my disco is built and has a chassis number now and its in the final trim stages. They are expecting delivery at the end of the week. Can't wait to get the new toy!

Well, after some mix up at the factory and the transportation company, my D4 was still sitting down in England yesterday
Estimated delivery date to the dealer is now on Wednesday, who said they could get it registered and PDI'd for Friday....may as well wait until Saturday now though.
All good things come to those who wait....

Absolutely love this, an immense improvement in ride quality and noise reduction over my 3XS....so you can imagine how much better it is than the L200 it replaced!

What's the lead time on a D4 at mo then? Sounds not very long if you made the order in jan, I only as as I'm thinking of walking in to the dealer next week110 XS Utility
