17'' tyre choices?

Hi Guys, I've recently taken delivery of a 57 plate GS disco 3 on 17'' wheels. The current tyres are 235/70 R17 goodyear wrangler HP's, they seem to be a very harsh ride and reasonably noisey, they are fairly well worn.

What are my best options for a nice soft ride and all year round tyre? Our roads in Lincolnshire are horrifically rough, some of the poorest in the country.

I would like to put some GG AT's on at 245 width, but don't know which wall ratio to look at, the 65 or 70 to keep the speedo reasonably correct.

Any other sudgestions gratefully received

Thanks Martin
