Good offer that Smile

I just use BioD instead albeit in an FFRR and get it at £1.219 a litre Smile but she is thirstier than a D3/4 Sad

Hi KP, I don't know about FFRR, but the D4 manual gives the following statement on BioD.

Quote:
DIESEL ENGINED VEHICLES
Land Rover recommends that only premium brand diesel fuels are used.
Note: Land Rover vehicles are capable of running with up to a 5% blend of bio-diesel in accordance with European Standard EN590.

Most manufacturers state that at the minute due to some very bad places leaving to much methonal in the mix and not recovering it and then it eats your fuel lines, seals....

I ran a D4 for about 1000miles on it( 2 tanks) without issue when i first got it and then handed it back with another 8k on the clock in 2 months and it was still running perfect Smile

To be honest the bio blend will only go up as the 5% is the minimum and as BioD is cheaper than normal Dino diesel i would imagine that they are cutting more of it into the mix, specially for the cheaper supermarket fuels to get them in on cost.

If you run it and get a remap your likely to get a bit extra grunt compared to dino fuel anyway and i always feel better in the pocket and mind for running the FFRR on it, although its the older M57 engine but if i ever move onto a TDV8 3.6/4.4 i'd still carry on and keep an eye on its running and the fuel filter (the biggest scare monger after seal degredation)
And the most i have spent so far on a fuel up was......

£115 for 95 litres.....
£130ish it would have cost me at sainsburys which are my local cheapest
