No it was an example of how 'some' people are attracted to names, but underneath they are identical to other non named items.
Anyway, Chav away, I'm happy as will lots of others be, just checked when I bought mine and it was 10th March last year, still as good as new, maybe they will appear in the stores again soon following their cycle.

I am not saying everything in Lidls is top notch, but they do have some great stuff, I am talking about the pressure washer. I am in a position to buy what I want where I want but I do enjoy a bit of Liddling and Maplining now and again
As for those blanketly slagging off all their goods, that is just naive and foolish talk showing lack of knowledge and experience, probably younger spoilt kids, they will mature one day

You really should have got the 'identical' Garrett branded one for £157, what are you going to do with the saved £147, buy a Garrett sticker to put on it?
You can use a standard 9 v battery (+ to strap end) or use the rechargeable 9 v it came with and charger Vibrate mode is cool

finaly got metal detector to day of my kids for my birthday back 6 feb so might go out sunday -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.
