I have had a fair few pressure washer in my time from Halfords own to Karcher e.t.c. but I recently bought one from Lidl which is their own brand 'Parkside', I don't know if anyone else bought one but Wow! what a POWERFUL machine, very light as it is made from aluminium and 150 bar!!! It come with some attachments the main being the controllable fan shaped nozzel and the water rotating nozzle plus a rotating brush I have never used, trust me this is a bargain for the money. If they ever appear back in Lidls they would be worth getting, there are a couple on ebay on auction and one at a fixed price, in Lidl they were I think £79.99 so ones available have a slight premium on them but you will not get any better or cheaper at 150 bar for the money
Here is a picture of it, others are on auction on the site:

I bought a 240v hammer drill from Lidl once, the shaft which connects the chuck to the motor sheared while drilling an M10 hole in limestone.
Never again. 2014 D4 XS

So what you are saying is that anything from Lidl is , items come from all different manufacturers, you are saying bacuse one thing had a fault EVERYTHING is , well what a stupid ill informed suggestion
Imagine if we used the same theory for the Discovery 3 & 4
I can't really understand why you couldn't make the link....

A Discovery 3 & 4 would be a premium product at a premium price. I think the point is that you often get what you pay for. Not always true I give you, but I certainly got the link ....

Well as it happens I bought a drill/driver bit set as well, the HSS bits were made of chocolate and became blunt very quickly, and an M8 Masonry bit bent while being used on hammer so 2/2 DIY items, makes it a 100% record so far, doesn't it?
edit: My bosch professional hammer drill has never fallen apart or bent any of my dewalt masonry bits, even when smashing through engineering bricks. 2014 D4 XS

OK, well ignore my advice. To anyone else who DOESN'T just think because something has a known name it is a 'premium product' trust me this pressure washer is spot on
The nearest average price at the 150 bar is £300 plus, Oh and it comes with a 3 YR guarantee
As for premiuim products, I 'used' to be naive and think that was the case, now I know it is all a load of marketing look at the cr@p that LR have with their logo on from water bottles to caps to other , mostly all available elsewhere and identical (less the logo) for a lot less, WTF suddenly makes it LR with a logo on I now buy items suitable for what I want them for and leave the numpties to waste their hard earned to pay over the odds for chavvy logo'd

Thanks, it seems to come with maturity and confidence in ones self, not having to hide behind brands like the chivvy scum who hang around street corners and bus stops, totally empty inside
Don"t get me wrongI have some very nice stuff with branded names, but unfortunately the old original branded things even Land Rover are being bought for one reason and that is to exploit the heritage as much as possible & make money
You just need to look at the dumbing down of the old good branded names that have gone this way, mleft forvfoolscand wannabes to waste their money on to 'think' they are cool, you just have to
Nearlly all produced in China and the far East to exploit cheap labour if you read the small print, including Apple! Not that this is going to affect the purchase of the IPad 3 for me in the next couple of weeks, as Lidls don't have anything to compete.......yet

Try the Prosecco from Aldi and then compare to something twice the price - agree with DT - sometimes you get genuine value - a brand is a great tool to drive a great margin - that's why companies guard them so vigourously

Doesn't that move the "goal posts"
A Lidl pressure washer is not the same as a Karcher less the logo.
