Putting my D3 wheels onto my TD5??

Hi everyone, i've had a quick scan on here aboout what wheels fit the D3 etc as i'm relatively new to landrovers. As it turns out i've waited 30 years to own a landrover and ended up with a D3 and a TD5 at the same time!! I'm looking at buying a set of RRSS 22" overfinch wheels to put onto my D3 then put the standard 19" D3 wheels onto my TD5. Is this possible without too much hassle? My Td5 has the split rim rr alloys on at the moment which are well scabby, but will i be able to use all the same existing wheels nuts for both swaps??

you will need to use d3 wheel nuts on the d2 and spigot rings are recomended to get them to sit right
as for the 22's do they come with nuts or do they use d3 standard ones?
had some 20"ffrr rims on my d2 and the ride was very harsh but they looked good

Thanks for that pinhead, you were absolutely right. the 22" rims went straight on and i could use my original wheel nuts, but i had to get a new set of D3 wheel nuts to fit my old rims onto the TD5, as the original ones were too big.
I'm really pleased with how both cars now look, and to be honest there doesn't really feel any difference in the ride on the 22", certainly not enough of a difference to not make it worthwhile. I didn't need any spigot rings, both sets seemed to fit perfectly well. I'll post some pictures when i work out how to do it, thanks again.

You do really need spigot rings for the D3 wheels on the D2 as the centres are fractionally wider, they are cheap enough and make the wheels more stable at speed.

I used these ones..........
