Hi Everyone,
Could do with some advice please.
Got the D3 back from dealer other day and informs me the two front tyres are 3mm across the tyre and have flagged them up as red on the check sheet. (Legal limit 1.6mm)
I was told that if i replace the two fronts now i will be ok as the backs still have 4.6mm of tread left and i am ok to put two new ones on the front as they are within limits of 4mm difference between the front and the rears. Told me if i hang on and it gets to more than 4mm difference between the new tyre and the rears i will have to replace all four as she won"t like it and it can cause problems. Also advised to put the new ones on the front, but does it make any difference where i put them.
