Great things no doubt. Anyhow, there is a way to do this to a Disco but it verges on Heath Robinson
I think you could get away with this option on a battered Disco as pictured but not a nice new one. I did it as when changing cars after the weekend I would slightly slip over in the one without arm rests as I was used to them.

If they had been fitted to the cubby box with hidden brackets that would allow the lid to be opened, I think thats a great idea. Certainly a lot easier than stripping the seat down to fit.
