This was a trip organised by UKlandroverevents.co.uk. They only have a maximum of 5 cars on each trip. Todays trip was from Reeth Yorkshire left at 1000 and over the moors many varied routes, used all the facilites the car had to offer ie rock crawl and all the others to. We finished at Hawes at around 1630. Really had great fun and lots of assistance from Colin who is the organiser. Cost for the day £50 but worth it as car now back home very dirty but all in one piece.

The steps on the Cam road dropping down to Hawes.

Looks like there has been a lot of erosion since I was up there a few months back.

BTW tis the Dales not the Moors Thumbs Up

Yes the steps were quite tricky, an inch at a time but the D3 took it all in its stride.

oops as we are from Lancashire it looked like moors, but i stand corrected dales it is. What is the difference between a dale and a moor ??

The area you were in was the Yorkshire Dales, west of The Vale of York. The Yorkshire Moors are east of The Vale of York and run to the sea. Thumbs Up

Glad you had a great time. Very Happy

I thought it looked like the place I did several times in my Defender, also done it on an Enduro bike, there has been a lot of erosion there, even under the grass sides there is washout,

Don't normally drive down that side, prefer to take it wide over to the drivers side then drop down. Must be a reason for taking that line though?
