D4 XS Halogen - can I activate daytime running lights? |
|
Done a quick search but couldn't find anything.
Anyway, picked up my D4 today (front wheel arch not properly fitted, as I found out when I got home - good old Marshalls; need to get that sorted), otherwise, it seems great. My D3 seats were more comfy, but they were custom leather.
I thought I had xenon's for a moment, but they aren't. Shows what I know about lights. Anyway, the LOOK like they have the led daytime running lights on them, like the HSE. I wondered if they are real or fake, and if the former, can they be activated by someone with a faultmate, or would I need to change the light unit, etc?
Separately, I was told that the passenger could watch the DVD screen on the move, but not the driver. The DVD plays fine on the satnav unit, but when I move, the picture cuts for driver and passenger. I assume this is an HSE feature only (good old Marshall's. Again. )
Many thanks for any advice. PAGODA

Sounds like they know as much as my dog
No LEDs Unfortunatly ... You'd have to change the whole lights then activate
You don't get duel screen on a D4
Seats ... Nout to do with the leather ... Seats are completely different in the XS and HSE G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks, Wiggs, thought as much but grateful for confirmation.
Incidentally, if your dog fancies earning a few extra quid a week, I can put him in touch with the Muppet Principal. I hear they pay peanuts, according to the highly motivated and very happy members of staff I spoke to.
I'll see about getting my wheel arch fixed tomorrow. Reassuring to have been told that they conducted a thorough Pre-delivery Inspection, though. Wonder what else they missed.
The D4 is supposed to be a three wheeler, right? I mean, they said it's normal. PAGODA
