Just fitted a pair of Philips LED Daylight 4 (supplied by one of our sponsors HIDS4U). They went pretty well.
I used a new grill and surround supplied by "Slimer" and resprayed it to match Firenze Red (£9.00 from TLO) in case I want to refit the original at some stage.
If I did it again, I would fit them in the upper vent in the grill as you only have to make one cut (alteration) and that would be to the bottom of the LR badge housing. In my case, I had to cut a V notch in both the grill and surroound to get them to the legal separation whis is 600mm (inside edge to inside edge). Maximium height is 1500mm so well within that limit but just on the horizontal limit where I've fitted mine.
The wiring is simple (three connections) and no bumper to remove.
