First gremlin, trip computer display screen went blank upon starting the engine. Restarting the engine didn't correct the problem. Anybody knows about this problem? Any suggestions? Its an 07 MY...Searched for the problem in this forum, no luck...

disconnect the battery for 10 mins - make sure you wait until the clock display has gone from the IHU first (wait >2 mins with all doors shut, bonnet open of course )

Instead of disconnecting the battery, why not try a hard reset first?
This involves turning the ignition on/off 10 times in succession. This usually then clears down fault memory.
